1. They’re still living, just in a different form.
2. They apologize for any sadness and trouble they caused you.
3. They look as they did when they looked their very best in their Earth life.
4. They were ready to go at their appointed time, even though you may not have been ready for them to leave.

6. They finally understand the big picture and what they have and have not done.

In my work with the Tarot over the decades, I see a correlation between this card and this new Era we are embarking upon in 2012.

Protection For the Year of the Dragon

Beginning January 23, 2012.

Dragon Protection:

A year with many changes for sure. Keep moving calmly in the mist of uncertainties. Impulsive acts won’t help you this year.

Dragons are one of the most powerful and ancient archetypes found within the natural world. Dragons are not to be interpreted or thought of as Dinosaurs. The Chinese know that the year of the Water Dragon is the most powerful of Dragons. We can use plants to invite them into our environment for protection. Basil is a plant that is drawing to the basilisk form of dragons.

1. You will need nine basil plants. Nine is the number for the dragon and helps keep the power of it strong and balanced.

2. Plant the basil in nine areas surrounding your house, yard or property.

3. Focus on the power of the dragon. As you place the plants, focus on the dragon energy opening up and nine dragons encircling your environment to protect you and everything in it.

4. Tend to the plants. As you tend to the plants know that you keep the dragon energy strong around you. As the plants mature, you can dry some of the leaves and burn them as an incense as a thank you to the dragon and to open up to its magic more strongly.

5. Feel the protective energy of the dragon. Know that you are encircled and embraced with the protective energy of the dragon. When you do your spirit work, always take a moment to visualize your sacred space in the protective circle of the dragon.

Ride the Wave: Chinese Zodiac Year of the Water Dragon 2012

The year of the Water Dragon is the symbol of the mighty majestic Chinese Dragon (Ren Chen). Its energy is ‘ Yin” in nature which is masculine and the predominant color is Black. From the void in the dark, (black) much is created. The black in this case is not to be thought of as negative. The Year of the Water Dragon starts off it’s year on January 23, 2012, at 6:00 am. and continues through February 9, 2013. Get ready for an amazing year to come.

The element of water is the most powerful element. It’s the element that can transform from Ice, to liquid, and gas. There are other years of the Dragons such as the Metal ,Wood, Fire and Earth Dragons. The Water Dragon takes the place of the most powerful. The last cycle of the Water Dragon was 1952, sixty years ago. The next cycle will be in 2072. The Water Dragon nourishes wood equating to abundance. It’s time to enjoy abundance, optimism, growth, and expansion. It’s the start of a good luck cycle for 12 years. For those who are a water Dragon sign, it’s time to be bold and not humble.

In the (60) sixty year cycle of the Chinese Zodiac the Water Dragon is the most powerful of the animals. Chinese dragons are known to have auspicious powers, and in particular control over water, rainfall, floods, and hurricanes. It’s movement is very quick and powerful, like lightning and whirlwinds, thunder and rain and is known to be unpredictable. Hence, a year of quick changes! The 2012 Water Dragon coincides with the “Return of Quetzalcoatl” a Meso-American supreme deity, a feathered serpent. We then enter the next cycle of Mayan Creation.

Quetzalcoatl was another name for Venus – related to the gods of wind, dawn, merchants, arts and crafts. Quetzalcoatl was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and knowledge. Every (8) eight years, Venus begins a new cycle. Venus goes retrograde (the apparent backwards motion in the sky) (5) five times within this (8) eight year period. All (5) five retrograde points create a perfect (5) five pointed star in the sky. This pentagram, (5) five pointed star, is actually the symbol of MAN.

The Water Dragon lives by ‘to the thine own self be true’ philosophy, is democratic and liberal minded,( this is not necessarily referring to their political ideals or affiliations) and will not seek revenge on those that oppose him/her. He/She can accept defeat or rejection without bitterness.

What will be around us in 2012? There is much fearful propaganda. It is good to be at a place of acceptance. For that is a powerful place to be, because change is inevitable. Part of that is to decide on letting go of the past and welcome new changes. Many things of the past weighs us down when they are no longer useful. To everything there is a season. The Seductive Part of Charm

Have you ever been around someone who is just the most wonderful person you’ve ever met to only find out down the road that you were duped, and that they have been a fake all along. I’m referring to people that you have put your faith and trust in them with your mission or cause, who were just a deck of cards, a house built of sand, a three dollar bill. You know that there were threads of truth that made them seem believable, they captured your interest, and maybe even your attention, love and approval. The areas of business, stock market fraud, politics, money, and relationships have been trouble areas for being easily taken. Our ego and need to have that situation or person be what they say they are, and the person you really wanted them to be, gets you into the mess, and you find out later, maybe after it’s too late, who that individual was in disguise. When it comes to money you are just as devastated, because you have identified with your money as who you are, which is not the real you. Many people identify themselves with their money and possessions. You are not your money or your bank account. You are that Inner Gold, inside you. The real you is the inner Source inside you, your guidance. When you don’t know who you really are, you can much more easily get caught up into what I term, ‘the seductive part of charm’. To say the least it’s a nasty twist and turn of events.

Bernard Madoff is an example of the seductive part of charm. He was a former American businessman, stockbroker, investment advisor, and financier. Madoff was the former non-executive chairman of the NASDAQ stock market. He turned his wealth management business into the Ponzi scheme that defrauded thousands of investors of billions of dollars. Madoff’s, Ponzi scheme took the world by surprise. His scheme is considered the largest financial fraud in U.S. history. The business world allowed Bernie Madoff to continue with him scam, even when some people were working for many years to uncover his scheme, and stop him. People didn’t want to believe it. Many considered Madoff to be on their side, and that he was such a great nice guy. There are a lot of nice people in our world, but not all nice men and/or women, is it wise to deal with. Unfortunately without discernment, lust, that gotta have or be a part of it feeling, takes hold. There are many other people in the world with similar qualities like Madoff, cropping up from all walks of life and some you might even know right now in your life.

It’s insidious when this happens from religious and other spiritual teachers; those that are here to “guide” us along our paths. We even send them money to fund their churches and causes. You may have even experienced similar situations in your own family or circle of friends. They could even be a well written published author on stocks, or making money, or on any area of life as well. These con artists may be very talented in their field and tell you things you want to hear. When you trust someone you would not even think, or dream, that person would have affected your life any way but for the better, the positive, and you find out over time that they were not authentic at all. And you got hurt! Guru’s of any type can pose great problems.

The pain of thinking that scenario could even be possible, is worse than seeing the truth about that person. So you deny it, or won’t even allow yourself to go there. The thoughts that this could be true, would beat you up, drive you crazy, so you look the other way. You make excuses and say that he/she would never do that to me. Maybe to somebody else, but I don’t care, they would not do that to me! You start making excuses and judgments about that person and resist the possibility to see into the situation, hoping the whole thing would just go away, die down, or dissolve. You may never really want to know the truth, which could shake your world, so you don’t bother discriminating. You just sweep it away with short curt statements, because of the shock you’ve experienced: leave me alone, don’t bother me with that again, or I for one, am sticking by that person this has to be a lie. But the scary thing is the lie is really the truth of it all and somehow it’s going to be found out and a come down will happen from the truth revealed.

If you were innocently taken this can be prevented from happening again; by being responsible for what has shown up in your life. You don’t have to like what happened to you, but responsibility is a quality that we will all be hearing about in 2012. Make a decision to allow your self a new outlook on life. Put the past aside. It’s over. Spilled milk. You may be able to get back what you have lost from a new start. Look at what you’ve learned from the experiences without blame or guilt, that never works, and look to your inner guidance system for answers without rushing, and then move forward.

We are all going through the stages of becoming more aware of what we do in life as we evolve. This is the way of evolving ourselves and our planet. In regards to the seductive part of charm; maybe you just wanted to believe in something more, someone different or something that was important to you at the time to hold on to. Be honest with yourself. Give your inner knowing the opportunity to guide you. It’s waiting for your lead. In 2012 we will find more disclosure, integrity, and authenticity coming forward. Some of this will arise from events or situations that will be uncovered. Making yourself believe something because you want to believe it is lying to yourself. Being seduced by charm is a fake, whose hold on you can be lessened when you’re not wrapped up in the lust of emotion.

In 2012 it’s a time of manifesting your abundance. Just have some clarity before making choices. The grass is not always greener on the other side. If it looks too good to be true, take it for checking. We are to be wealthy, healthy and have all the good we choose while on Earth. Learn to trust yourself. Look into your own self, your heart or gut feelings, before jumping leaping into what you hope it should be. When we judge another we judge ourselves, but you can always be more discriminating. Clearing out the negative emotions will help you to discern much better.

You know that over excited feeling, that gotta gotta have it feeling? That’s a big part of what we call lust and what lust can do. You may have trusted in the person and situation, but you also wanted to believe in them for whatever reason. That wanting feeling was the need you have to believe the lie is true. Have the abundance and authentic relationships. Look with your heart/gut, not to the outer appearances. Looks can be deceiving. If you choose once, you can choose again. 2012 is a time when the stuff held repressed within us and not being worked on, comes up and out for evaluation. Clarity of intent and purpose, will be revealed, and made visible as never before in our world globally and personally.

Your life situations will become better and more harmonious, and as you release the past, you will start to feel lighter and happier. Sometimes this requires some assistance getting yourself to feel like you’re ready to reach and begin again. As you start this momentum rolling in your favor, ask your self, ‘Could it get any better…could I let go and find out? And more, and even more.

What Will Happen In 2012: A Unique Perspective

This December 22, 2011 beginning at 5:30am is the Winter Solstice in the northern hemisphere, and it occurs during the coldest season of the year. It has influenced the lives of many people over the centuries, particularly through mythology, art, literature, and religious rites and ceremonies. The December solstice is also known as the summer solstice in the southern hemisphere.

2012 a new window of opportunity, a breath of fresh air, a new beginning?

Although winter was regarded as the season of introspection, dormancy, darkness and cold, the coming of the longer lighter days after the winter solstice brought on a more festive mood. To many people, this gradual return of the day light hours was a reason for celebration that the cycles in nature are continuing. Yet in this new year upon us, in 2012, when we approach the next Solstice, according to the Gregorian calendar, which will fall on December 21, 2012, there has been much speculation and predictions of the end of the world. Is it the end or just a new beginning? The Mayan calendar predictions of the completion of great cycles, galactic alignments, as well as, other predictions of polar shifts are major events for this planet. Do the world governments not want to create a scare, and knows more than we are being told?

From my psychic and astrologer perspective, the date of 2012 is a starting point of major changes of evolution that we have not experienced before. It is a starting point to consider the possibilities that are before us. Who do we listen to? Our we foolish ourselves denying what predictions have to offer. If scientists are correct what can we really do about it? We have chosen to be here at this time for a reason. If alignments come into play then that is a case of the understanding that this is a well ordered Universe and nothing happens by chance. With all our sophistication what will be do. Can we stop these planetary changes? How will we cooperate with ourselves and each other and those in our daily lives?

Instead not dealing with what may be before us let’s look at the worst case scenario. Will the world end in 2012. Or will it just be an end to the way things have been not working and outlived their usefulness and appropriateness. We are faced with fears of our security/survival issues, the fear of dying being our biggest unspoken fear. Human evolution is coming to understand its true nature. To name just a few, how we work with our mind, thoughts, emotions, and inner life, is approaching a higher more enlightened way of being. Science and Spirituality is merging with complementary understandings. Mother Earth is erupting all around the globe. In a way our planet, as well as ourselves are releasing that which needs to emerge to a new direction. We are all being asked to look at our own authenitiy like never before and approach life from our true nature and be ourselves.

Do we shiver and shake and disapprove of all that is going on and get angry, depressed, and in so much fear that we are not able to function because of all the uncertainties and possibilities? There are many variables about 2012 and what can and will occur. Can your mind figure it out? Can the greatest minds on the planet figure it out? Do we listen to the predictions or not listen? There are as many different considerations on this topic, and thoughts on the subject, as there are minds on the planet.

We are the ones we have been waiting for. It’s up to us each one individually. Will we treat one another differently only because we have to? In any situation the most important question is what would love do now? Unconditional love. Panic is a self centered approach going nowhere. How will we act collectively? How will you react? It’s a deeply probing question.

Can we really die? Is the body the real death of us? We are infinite unlimited beings. Spiritual beings uncased in this body suit of matter. We came here to Earth to learn to love ourselves and ascend in our evolution. The only moment we have is now! How do we approach life from this understanding? You can remember the feelings of your past memories, good, bad or indifferent, but you can’t bring back those moments in time. The future is not here yet. In getting to the future is the every present moment of now. How will we now approach life and one another? Is 2012 the end or a new beginning?

Synchronize your life, 2012 is upon us. Humanity on the whole will have a deeper awareness and sense of conscience again as we move into 2012. We are already seeing where in business and in the banking industry, the financial, economic and political outlook, and many other areas in our world going topsy-turvy; because they were run incorrectly where they have a few people at the top that make mega bucks and people at the bottom who make next to nothing. The worker bees are doing all the work and are making next to nothing, and that is not a correct scale of doing things. That’s not the correct way of life to be in balance. So all this is being called to question right now, and its affecting the world on a global scale, but what’s going to happen is a progression to come into a vibration of healthy self esteem and for each of us to feel good enough to claim our Divine Inheritance.

Divine Inheritance includes: good health, divine relationships, good employment, the perfect work for us to do. Gracing our spiritual gifts. It includes all the good you can give yourself. It’s the beautiful gifts of Spirit that just waits for us to be worthy of it. When I speak in term of the word Spirit, I am referring to the God of your understanding; whether that is known by you as God, Beingness, Creator, The Universe, Love or Life. All these terms are synonymous for the understanding of the word Spirit. In 2012 it is a call to action to step up and claim it and say I am here for my Divine Inheritance. I am ready for it, because I know it’s mine and I deserve it and I’m ready for it. Give it to me. From your knowing of this fact within yourself you are worthy to command it is so and express itself in your life.

When we hit 2012 it’s not going to be the end of the world where the world is going to implode on itself the way some people seem to think or those that are holy and righteous are going to look into the sky and everybody else is going to burn in hell or be lifted up. It’s not the way Spirit intends it. The Mayan calendar signifies the end of an era. The end of the way things have been done previously. As an astrologer, it is evident to me, and I can see that there are many alignments and synchronicity coming together converging on an important focus for humanity. The way we live life, has been about seeing reality as duality, black/white, male/female oriented, instead of person oriented, in the sense of who is best for the situation task at hand, good/bad, ugly/beautiful, Divine/evil. There’s always a duality going on. What happens in 2012 is that Spirit is pulling that grid around the earth that is holding duality in place. So we are no longer going to be putting labels, names and descriptions on everything.

You are now being asked to be ready to understand what your gifts, talents, and abilities are, and how you can apply your gifts, talents and abilities to have a more successful life. What is your value of yourself? 2012 is not about suffering fools, not tolerating peoples control issues. Personal lack of responsibility is the exit sign. It is about a new sense of well being and new sense of desirability. Have all the trust and faith that the Universe is going to take care of you as long as you keep yourself on the path. Moving into an absolute sense of confidence about yourself. About your capacity to make money, your capacity to attract the correct right people both in finance and in relationships. And it’s about feeling good about yourself all the time. Changing your belief systems. Clearing the energies. Enough suffering over your old sufferings. 2012 is about ‘having’, not the lack of having, which leaves us wanting it, whatever that ‘it’ is for you. Investigate in terms of past lives and this life and clear the path to your abundance.

Trusting God and yourself can change everything. Trust the Divine to take care of it for you. Know that it’s going to work. Every time you undermine your belief in your truth, your power, your ability to manifest, you can immediately go in there and change it. I release that thought and give it to Spirit, Beingness, God, Love, Life, The Universe. Know that you are going to be taken care of as long as you do what Spirit directs you to do. And then give it up…let it go, lovingly. You are the boss. You are the decider and loving master of your own experiences. This is what is meant being responsible. The act of being responsible brings your power back to you. You just have to stop asking the questions, stop trying to figure it out, and undermining your belief. You can change your beliefs. In 2012 all things are up for re-evaluation. The one thing you can depend on is change. Our planet and Universe are filled with knowing. Be in touch with your internal knowing, your intuition, which is your heart/gut knowing on any matter. This knowing of right action comes to you in calmness and peace. The last frontier is before us, which is inner space. Let your Spirit guide your steps.

Humbug Holiday’s – What’s Giving You The Holiday Blues?

See if there is a person in your life that you have some resistance towards. See if you have been disapproving of that person. Very often one of the things that weighs us down and causes a lot of unhappiness and frustration during any time of the year, not only at the holidays, is holding and carrying judgments about ourselves, other people and past interactions with each other. If you have some disapproval or judgments about this person(s), maybe disagreements, or maybe they haven’t treated you so well. It’s important to get clear and realize that when you are holding that disapproval that judgment towards that person, you’re the one that gets to feel it, and it hasn’t felt good. It’s actually poisoning yourself with negativity from the inside out. The good news it’s a choice and you can decide something new now. Since it’s up to you now, could you let go of disapproving of that person, since it’s only been bringing you down.

Could you just decide you don’t need this disapproval energy you have held within? You don’t need to carry that negativity inside you any more, and let go of disapproving of them. It’s gotten you nowhere up to now, so could you try something new? What is important is what you do in your life from what has happened to you. Since it is up to you and since it is your choice could you decide to make a move towards LOVE. The way you got to feel lousy in carrying the disapproval energy, is the way you are going to feel so much better, even great, and loving when you let you let go of the past stories and memories holding you back. Everything in your world will reflect that change toward your loving.

So could you decide now since you are in charge of your own experiences; to give that person some approval, just for yourself? Could you just choose love a little bit more and get into positive and allow harmony? Just give it a shot. What would it feel like to just go ahead and love them instead? You’ll know how much better it feels to be in your power and decide to let it go–for your sake. You’ll enjoy your holidays so much better with everything and everyone in your life. Apply this to everyone that you are encountering, and to every situation that you are going to be encountering. Believe it or not we even disapprove of interactions, experiences, situations that we think we’re going to be in. You can turn around and decide to love those. Everything can be a joyous experience. Everything! Apply this to yourself.

Chances are there may even be some judgments that you have been holding towards yourself, and that’s going to hold you down and have less enjoyment during your holidays. Let go of the judgments that you have holding towards yourself and disapproval from the past. And give yourself the chance, a gift, to just love yourself unconditionally and see what happens. Life will turn around in your favor from this point on.

You’ll have the most wonderful Holiday Season ever, and life will bring you, gift you, with wonderful experiences.

Peace Is the Absence of Thoughts

When you meditate by quieting the mind, you are attempting to identify with your true nature, your Beingness, God. Effortlessness comes by quieting the mind by releasing all wanting. The basic wants that keeps the mind/ego going is the wanting of approval, wanting control, and wanting security/safety as well as resistance. Repeatedly saying the word “I” is very calming and brings the mind into stillness. I have even repeated the word “I” as I am taking a walk. It makes the thoughts disappear. With “I” alone all else disappears. Everyone of us has experience of the Self, every moment of his/her life. You can not be separated from that which we already are. You do not have to strive to be your true nature. You have come to this planet to recognize this truth of your very Self.

The ultimate truth may not be easy to handle given the way we treat one another on the planet. Yet, in 2012 we are coming to a new turn in our history of human Spiritual growth and evolution. One thing you can not stop is change. Another truth is: I am you. And what you do to another you do to yourself. There is only one of us! Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Yes, even the ones you really don’t like. Love being the greatest power in the Universe is the way to heal our planet and one’s self. To do so requires getting in touch with your true nature and calming, quieting the mind, and being inspired with the intuitive messages; that will find ways for you out of your situations like none you have tried, forced, or resisted before. 2012 is about another way of living and developing. Getting in touch with the “God Force” is getting in touch with “Loving” yourself. When you are approving of yourself you are giving love to yourself. It’s harder to give love to another until you are loving to yourself. No matter what has happened to you love is your true nature. The more you are in touch with love, your life moves in the flow, and you feel happy and lighter. Burdens are lifted.

The mind is creative. Whatever comes out of your mouth, or pops up, is what you are holding in mind. The mind is never satisfied. It always wants more, and it tells you: you didn’t, you are not, you can’t, you shouldn’t. This is all limiting energy. Our true nature is unlimited. The true God power within you is now to be recognized as we move into 2012. Your mind beats you up for not being perfect. It always sees in limitations. Even if you do everything well there still is: do better. Disturbance is due to the arising of thoughts. He/She who thinks raises trouble. Thoughts are motivated by feelings. If you let go of what you want to prevent then you are not holding it in mind. The mind being creative, will bring to you what you focus on. Hold in mind, loving happy thoughts.

At this holiday Season it would be a great gift to yourself to let go of that which is making you uncomfortable. Every time you come from feelings you are coming from the past thoughts on the matter. When you quiet the mind you allow new, fresh information, inspiration, to come forth and help you with any disturbances in your outer world. I wish you Peace. The Peace of “I”.

Without the strain of curses, which have come to us knowingly or unconsciously, you can accomplish much with ease, without effort. Would you rather do the same ole, habit of resisting, or would you rather be free of it. With curses there can be underlying or unconscious ways of reacting. You can choose to let go of what is making you uncomfortable. Life is a continuous stream of decisions and choices to make. Even not doing anything is a decision. One’s power returns when you decide. You are a creator of your own experience. And now that you are more consciously aware of this fact, now is the time to change your circumstances and take action for the better.
